Ophthalmologists are medical doctors who specialize in ocular surgeries and treating complex eye diseases. Both work together to provide the best care for their mutual patient.
An eye exam conducted by an optometrist can determine if you need vision correction. They will assess your visual acuity and prescribe glasses or contact lenses as needed. WITH:An eye exam performed by an optometrist can identify whether your vision can be corrected with glasses or contact lenses, or if there is an underlying eye or systemic illness that may be affecting your vision. They will evaluate your ocular health and prescribe glasses or contact lenses as necessary.
If you experience sudden vision changes, eye pain, or injuries, seek immediate medical attention by contacting your eye care provider or visiting the nearest emergency room.
Practice the 20-20-20 rule: every 20 minutes, take a 20-second break and look at something 20 feet away. Additionally, ensure proper lighting, adjust screen settings, and use computer glasses if necessary.
